Five-Day Assessment

Your Email Has a Delivery Problem. Let’s Find It.

Messages are going to spam. A provider issued a block with no useful error message. Delivery rates dropped and nothing you’ve tried has changed them. You may not know exactly what broke, but you know something did.

Triage is a focused assessment built for that situation. In five business days, I will identify the cause of the problem, explain it in plain language, and give you specific actions, ranked by priority.

What Triage Covers

I examine your authentication configuration, sending infrastructure, and available delivery data to identify the root causes of the problem. Every finding is ranked by severity. Every recommendation is specific enough for your technical team to act on without guessing.

You receive a written findings document and a thirty-minute call to walk through it together, answer questions, and make sure the path forward is clear.

What this engagement covers

Authentication configuration review. Sending infrastructure examination. Available delivery data analysis. Root cause identification ranked by severity. A written findings document with specific, prioritized recommendations. A thirty-minute call to walk through the findings together.

What this engagement does not cover

Implementation of recommended changes. Sustained remediation support: If the findings point toward Recovery, I will say so. Legal advice: Findings with legal dimensions are noted for referral to qualified counsel.

What Triage Is Not

Triage is an assessment, not an implementation engagement. Recommended changes are yours to execute. I identify what needs to happen and why. Making the changes is your team’s responsibility.

Triage is also not a recovery program. If the findings reveal a problem that requires sustained support through remediation such as a prolonged blocklisting, significant reputation damage, or a pattern of issues that will take weeks to correct then I will say so, and we can discuss whether Recovery is the right next step.

Triage does not include legal advice. If the findings have legal dimensions, I will note them and refer you to qualified counsel.

What You Need to Have Ready

Triage runs five business days from the point I have what I need: DNS records or current record exports, ESP account documentation or configuration details, available bounce and complaint rate data, and a technical contact who can answer clarifying questions during the engagement.

Who Triage Is For

Any organization experiencing an active delivery problem. There is no minimum size requirement. The engagement does not assume a dedicated technical team, but it does require someone who can access DNS and ESP configurations and is available to respond during the five-day window.

If you are not sure whether you have an active problem or a potential one, the free assessment call is the right starting point. That conversation takes thirty minutes and ends with a clear recommendation.

That conversation takes thirty minutes and ends with a clear recommendation. If Triage isn’t the right fit for what you’re dealing with, I’ll tell you that, too.
